The Nexus is one of the beginning instances in Northrend. It is ideal for level 71-73 characters, and can be a great source of gear and experience. You’ll find five quests here, along with five achievements, and three bosses.

There is a lot of useful loot here, both at regular and heroic levels. Get what you can to prepare your character for the 10-man and 25-man raids that come later.

The PvE Bible as your Nexus Guide

The PvE Bible dedicates 9 pages to a Nexus walkthrough. In these pages you will learn everything you need to know about this instance. T Dub lists all the loot available (both regular and heroic) for defeating each of the bosses, so you know what’s worth having.

You’ll also find a list of all the available quests in the instance, with clickable links out to third-party sites for more information on each. I think this is especially useful, since it gives you access to info on the latest changes to any of the quests, even faster than T Dub can update the PvE Bible itself.

Another thing you’ll find useful is the detailed information on each of the bosses in the instance: Grand Magus Telestra, Anomalus, Ormorak the Tree Shaper, and Keristrasza, the final boss in the instance. While you could blast your way through this instance yourself, and eventually figure everything out, how useful to you is it to know that the Grand Magus can split into three clones, each with their own unique attacks. Or how much time would you have wasted before you discovered that the only way to get to Keristrasza is to kill all three of the other bosses, IN ORDER?
