Guest Advice on Warrior PvP

Tired of your Warrior losing in PvP combat?

Looking for a way to skyrocket your arena rating?

Want access to the newest zones?

Then you NEED this guide.

This warrior guide will surely help you to get accustomed to player versus player combat with your Warrior. If you already know all about PvP stay tuned, too – I’m sure you can get a few new tricks.

First of all: The greatest difficulty when playing a warrior in PvP is to get close to ranged damage dealer or healer. Druids, Elemental Shamans, Hunter, Warlocks and Mages… they will all try to avoid you.

They will either run away as soon as they see you closing in – or even worse, they will immobilize you before you actually manage to get close to them. I’m talking about crowd control abilities like slow, freeze, sleep, fear or seduction.

Actually there are some WoW races with built-in defensive spells to break crowd control effects. But not everyone starts a new character right now and can choose a race that is especially good in PvP…

The first thing I want to recommend you in my Warrior guide is to get a PvP trinket as soon as you can. I recommend you to wear this trinket every time you play PvP – battleground or arena. It breaks crowd control effects and helps you to get away or closer to your enemy.

The second advice in my PvP warrior guide is to get the right talent spec. Arms and Fury are the two offensive talent specs that are viable for PvP. In my opinion Arms is superior.

It focuses on using a 2h weapon with a slow rate of attack. Those slow weapons deal more damage on each swing. Now, the trick is that the Arms spec offers many abilities to deal more attacks with your weapon of choice. More swings + High damage per swing = Win!

Get yourself a PvP trinket, spec the right talent build (Arms) and you have mastered the basics of Warrior PvP combat! Well, of course this is only the first step to play a successful Warrior, but everone has to start at some point, right?

Now get to the front line and get some live experience in PvP, then come back for a Warrior Guide again.
